Yes, it's wicked, but no it's not what they use (yet). Tbh, when it comes to drives there, it's stability over performance, even though the backup culture is more intense than anywhere I've seen with exception to Air who take it to another level. You'd be surprised at how little SSD's get used.
Are you going for the rocketRaid 6gb to 4 x SataIII? That's the one to go for but be careful, as it can be OS version specific.
Why couldn't you keep your HDD? Should be no issue with that. |
