Finishing a track

So im upto a point in this track where im 4 mins through, needing to make it longer and add something else but i've come to a block, really frustrating
What does everyone else do in this situation? |

| Take a break and do something else, entirely. I'll take a full 24 hours off to get some perspective on a song. I listen to other songs while doing I've been putting off for the sake of producing. Sometimes I'll listen to what other people are doing in Music Producer's Promotional Forum and offer feedback, there. |

it depends on if you are thinking about the djs when making at track or not if you don't care about them then finish the tune the same way you started or go for some interesting arrangement.
personally i don't think it really matters how you do it i have producer buddies who simply copy paste there boring bits of the tune and do it that way. |
