Are you ready for this? They are suing for 100 trillion dollars. If you aren't that good at math, let me 'splain it to you. The value of all goods and services produced everywhere in the world is about 35 trillion dollars per year. That's everything from every grain of rice in the Far East to the Space Shuttle. Everything in the world. So all they are asking for is this - they want the value of everything produced by the entire world in the next three years! The annual GDP of France is about 2 trillion dollars. France has one of the world's largest economies. The amount they are asking for is about equivalent to the total value of everything produced by France since the beginning of time. Even Johnny Cochran would have a hard time keeping a straight face over that one. It sounds like something Dr Evil would demand." |

Don't you know that when you sue someone that you always sue for an outrageous amount......
i watched an interview today with the head attorne yin the law-suit, who was also the lead attorney for the attack on Pam Am flight 103 that Libyans bombed over Scotland, anyway i forgot his name ..starts with a K...but he was asked why sue for so much...and he laughed and said they knew they would not even get a 1/4 of the asking price....it's just a statement....nothing more nothing less.
so before next time before you try and make another topic on Americans being out of line or pompous or whatever..get the full facts...so that flame wars dont begin...
i mean even commen sense would tell you that the high figure was more for a bold statement....
and besides that whats the difference..they wont get anything from Hussein....

| most lawsuits are extreme in the usa. Someone in the usa is responsible for that mess. They knew about it before it happened then someone is responsible. Personally i wish sept 11 had never happened...2900 lost their lives. Will it stand it in court......dunno......is someone really responsible besides bin laden the nut cases......dunno. We'll see |

I never said you did say that.
The US wants him out for a while now, and they still can't get him. The man is in hiding 24/7, in bunkers 50 feet below ground. What are they gonna do? Bomb the out of everything, just like in Serbia and Afganistan? Can't wait to see that.
