Hey folks,
Im spearheading an outdoor public event in Guelph this summer and I have some questions for folks who may have run their own events/set up outdoor speakers before.
The event is for 100 people or so, it will be outdoor in an open park space, in a large gazebo.
Music will be house/deep house. I havent a clue how many watts/ what sort of setup id need. Ive done smaller indoor venues and have usually paired a couple 500 watt active yorkville speakers with a small sub.
Im thinking about perhaps getting a couple proper bass bins for this event. Sound quality is of utmost importance.
Also, it will be generator powered. will I need something to even out the peaks and lows? a UPS or something?
Any suggestions or past experience is greatly appreciated.
cheers

Also, get one of those fancy systems that goes to 11. kinda pricey, but the extra juice is worth it.
