I'm also curious about that. I don't use sample decks or any of the bells and whistles really so is there even a point? |

Seems to run smoother? Don't know.. Did a clean install on my studio machine, so gonna upgrade it on my laptop too to see if I notice any differences there...
Remix decks "only" work with the F1, so for now you can just use 4 slots x 2 so it's the same as the 2.0, except it loops all my one-shots and play my loops as one-shots, and there is no apparent, and easy, way to switch between modes. So that was a big let down.
Also the sync seems different, I dunno... Gonna have to play around some more me thinks. |

Been mucking around with it a bit today. Seems maybe a tad more efficient in terms of cpu, but yeah the remix decks will come into their own once I have my hands on the F1, but I think the sample/remix deck idea is kinda neat and does give you more flexibility if you like to experiment as I do. The filters have definitely been improved, a lot smoother around the center. The free remix content is a nice bonus also.
edit - yeah I might have spoken a bit too soon, I've just had a major crash recording a mix, pretty pissed as it was going well. Wasn't even pushing it hard either... solid as a rock my arse. |

| yeah the filters were alot better... not perfect but at least you dont have to set the filter to 1 o clock and turn the wet/dry knob... |

| I wont lie, I've rolled back to 2.1.3. This update is far too buggy and unstable as it is atm. |
