Yeah, southern Ontario can be pretty hot in the summer. It has pretty much the same climate as here, minus all the snow.

Well, I was in Kitchener and Toronto and it wasn't southern Texas weather but considering you live sort of near Niagara ( I went there but it was at night) I can imagine the humidity during the summer.

Does it ever reach 39.4 C there?

W/o the humidex? No. But the humidity here in the middle of the summer can add an easy 10 degrees to the temperature. I remember a day last summer... t'was 46 C. I think with an abnormally high humidex though.

Toronto is right on Lake Ontario so we get dat every summer
