testimonials are really easy to fake and beside of that these kind of services aren't confidencial?
but like any other business, they need to make a little buzz.
as long as everybody is happy and nobody till now reported any scam... they are clean |

So they forgo the 'credit, fame, girls, and DJ gigs', in return for a paltry fee. Yup that really adds up.
It's like a film maker giving up all the wealth and fame for a few hundred dolla bills. Where do I sign? |

Too bad theres no way to make a guitar that plays itself, think of all the potential money there, now everyone can be a guitar player and get the credit and fame. Then a few years down the road there will be those that boast "I actually play my guitar" and will get mad respect from the other old skoolers |

Actually, you'd be surprised how many Film scores are at least partially subbed out to another composer under the banner of big name composer.
The difference is the numbers are much larger (6 figures) often it's the path to your dues being paid, and eventually getting credits or bigger projects with your own name. |

cant u just sample the strings separately and put them into a sampler and playing with midi? then add massive distortion - success. |

You reminded me of the transhumanist movement based out of Oxford University and supported by Ray Kurzwiel.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portal:Transhumanism
Essentialy our craft will soon be redundant as Humans chose to augment thier minds with manufactured intelligence enhancing implants. Really not a great step up from a hearing aid.
Furthermore AI will lead to production values and tunes none of us standard Humans will hope to match.
Once we achieve AI (WITHIN 20 YEARS) everything is going to chgange as we will literaly aquire God like knowledge and capability overnight.
Man / machine enmeshment is just around the corner folks. Before you dismiss this, remember just a few decades ago the pessimists dismissed we'd ever have plastic surgery, pace amkers, carbon fibre limbs and mobile video phones. |
