Greetings everyone, I've had this as a moving target for quite some time now to set-up a regular monthly podcast as means of showcasing some of my own and friends' productions in the context of a well thought out DJ mix. This is the first installment in a series which I will update this thread with also.
Each month's episode will be a 60 to 80 minute mix featuring quality music from a range of electronic genres and sub-genres including house, techno, progressive, electro, experimental, ambient, drum & bass and more without focusing on anything specific. I'll also be including some favourite tracks, old and new from well known to underrated and little known artists and producers from across the globe.
I'll be trying to make each episode's mix more than just a bunch of current tunes mixed together, opting for a mix that delivers as a well thought out and captivating listening experience.
With this first episode you'll hear some unique experimental sounds, binaural recordings (ideally listened to through headphones), dark trippy atmospheres all developing into more dancefloor friendly progressive and techno that I'm probably better known to play. Do feel free to subscribe and I welcome any feedback and constructive criticism as always. I'm also open to taking track request for future episodes and you can email me mp3's to [email protected] if you so wish.

No sorry about that, things have been pretty hectic for me over the last month or so, had some rather sad news regarding my father and also trying to organize parenting orders for my son etc... pretty heavy. But I do plan to continue this series and hopefully can find some time soon to devote to a new installment. I appreciate the interest. |

| Awesome mixes to listen to in the middle of the night while just ing around on the internet. Lots of the music was very new to me, and it has a certain kinda "quirkiness" for lack of a better word to it. |

| Cheers for checking these out Luke. I've got a whole bunch of stuff to go in to another episode but still just trying to get some sort of flow going, but because I'm wanting to put all kinds of in these I can't make my mind up a lot of the time. :o |

I'll be remixing the creepy jesus tune once I've got my new pc up and running, would greatly benefit from a fresh mixdown with real monitors and a good final master, would have been much better in the mix. :o
Been reluctant to do any production stuff apart from sound design with the way my laptop is currently.
Also planning to get away from the clubbier techno side of things for the next episode which I've been meaning to do. |
