Manzone told me not to judge him by the hits he's been asked to play considering the crowd that event will attract lol. Brace yourself!

Mini review:

Got there at 12:45, it was busy, but not quite packed, I presume that Satoshi had just started.

The crowd definitely wasnt there for Satoshi, lots of guys fishing for girls, and lots of girls trying to lure them in. Lots of guys throwing down 10 second dance bouts to appease the opposite sex, and lots of ladies throwing duck faces for facebook photos.

The sound needs some SERIOUS work. Its a powerful system, but it was set way too bassy. Bass echo everywhere. I couldnt hear the mids or highs that well.

The first part of satoshis set was ok, a little generic, but he was playing for the crowd. He really turned it on from 1:30 to 3 though. Hard driving techy riffs that only satoshi can deliver.

By three the place had thinned out to maybe 10-15 people.

I felt pretty bad for Satoshi. Not his fault, but it was Cubes ty last minute marketing, targeting the wrong clientele etc. I managed to speak to him briefly, he's a really quiet, modest dude. A+

I dont think ill be going to cube again. Reminds me too much of TIL on a bad night.
