Back from Detroit! Been sleeping a lot since my return, developed a bit of a cold. Drinking oj, taking dayquil, trying to get back on some good new music, and getting caught up in my summer classes (getting a head start on a project, etc). I also cleaned my place - so nice!
I caught up with this girl I'd been seeing out here, but realized last night that I don't care for her as much as the girl I spent Detroit with... :/
Also, I've been reading so much lately- bought a book and a short story collection by Peter Stamm, a Swiss author whose piece in the New Yorker a month or two back had been the best of the year for me. I even bought 2 cookbooks because ... why not develop some skillz in that area: the momofuku cookbook [recipes are generally way out of my league, but the book is great nonetheless] and a book called Ruhlman's Twenty [focuses on techniques, so I think it'll be great for me] |

| I completely forgot about E3 until Dave just mentioned it... damn, next year I guess. Probably for the best, though, E3 followed by EDC might be too much stimulation for my brain in one week. :p |
