this one went down pretty well on my sharkseatpeople soundcloud, so I tidied it up and prepared it for promo - it's just gone in to promo now and already had some great comments from Sean Tyas,Robert Gitelmanm Dj Sasj etc.

would love to know what you guys think about it:

Stop ittttt!!This is just insanity, one of the best tracks I've heard in long while.

That synth break is to die for.

kick is over-compressed

and that side chaining is introducing a transient that is making it sound really bad with the kick. You get this flam effect. There seems to be this idea around that do make something sound more driving, you just move the drums ahead. Not entirely false but not the entire group. If you feel you need to make it sound more driving, play with the hihats , or the bass , but moving the drums up , makes the bass lag giving you the opposite effect. In fact that is what it seems is happening because the bass is constantly behind. If you are worried about it clashing with the kick, just lower the volume, or use a volume tool like the one from cable guys or the one from the guy that do nerve. dudda

Some really cool ideas here. I like the track but it is just a little on the boring side. The best part to me is the driving bassline.

Sounds a lot like Deadmau5's WIP Superliminal

Beginning sounds like Strobe.

I like from the break to the first drop. The rest of the song doesn't flow as well. The percs do sound off during the first triplet pass.
