Hello everyone,
Some of you might recognize me because I lurk on the forums occasionally, but who am I really? Well, I live in a relatively rural part of the US where there's no EDM scene, and I'm only 16. While I'm young and looking for fame, I still have a huge deep-seated respect music, which mostly stems from my classical background. In addition to that, I produce with all free/paid for software. It's not that I have a problem with pirated software, but I don't feel right when producing with cracked stuff, and I think it interferes with my music in that sense. It also imposes some limits which I find help creativity, and also knowledge of the tools that I do have. Right now I'm just starting off and learning and my music isn't that great, so please leave some constructive criticism or follow me on Soundcloud or something! Thanks!

I like you already, just don't do it for fame. As someone wiser than me said, doing anything for fame is like getting drunk to urinate.
Apart from that, the first thing you should do is go to http://soundcloud.com/ and get yourself an account. Upload your music, there, and then post a widget (or at least a link) to your song, back here. |

Haha i'm flattered! While fame is a nice side-dffect, doing it for the music alone is good enough for me, as long as there are some people to share with.
Also, i think i posted the link at the bottom of the first post, or does it not work? It's truncated so you might not have seen it. I'm out of town and on my phone, but i'll try to get a widget on there to make it more obvious |
