u can tell! ibiza has the DC10's and the Bora Bora's, but it also has Pacha and other upscale dress code BS $$$$ as well...

Ibiza isn't just for clubbers, it's a massive tourist destination for Euro wealthy as well

Would you say Ibiza is more accessible in terms of transportation vs Vegas? I would say Vegas is more by far which gives Ibiza a bit more of a moated scene if you will. Those wanting to make the journey by boat/plane to the island will make the party atmosphere more "exclusive/educated" I would think than Vegas which could be visted by many ways and directions

Madness!!

Would love to play a gig to that many, not for the fact of wow im playing for 20000 people but how you would actually play... have a pre-planned set (I would assume this is the majority) or play to the crowd (which would basically be impossible)

ibiza is for lack of a better comparison a running festival in and of itself for 4.5 months! 7 days a week nonstop partying for the most part round the clock. so do they really need a 1-3 day "festival" on the island? in my opinion no. because any night of the week you can see the best DJs on the planet at some of the best clubs on the planet, rotating weekly.

and im fully aware of DC10 and bora bora. my statement was that when it comes to the clubs, ibiza typically has no dress code, and even the pacha dress code, despite it is the more upscale club for people with $$$, a dress shirt isnt required like at marquee and tao.

haha that wasn't my point... I was pointing out the scale of the party and the legitimacy that comes with it

lmao

Ibiza isn't about the $$$? Who are you kidding?

Please reconfirm your statement when you are at the bar at Amnesia, and just paid 16-18EUR for rum and coke.

Maybe he meant vegas is about showing off the money aka glitz/glamour whereas you are talking about how much costs at the bar.

pacha was 18euros for a red bull vodka. but hey, they dont like tipping so....

Right... but what I was trying to compare is the drive factor alone would make Vegas more open to everyone than Ibiza... maybve I'm wrong..ya ya "I haven't been to Ibiza." There I said it.

*please note: all statements by myself relating to Ibiza should not be considered factual or truthful. Agree at your own risk

:tongue2

drive factor

say if u live in France, and you're like a 45 mins flight to Ibiza, is there really a "drive factor"?

anyways, I know the point you're trying to make, and accessibility isn't much different imo... unless u live in like L/A and can drive to Vegas for the weekend

why would it be "IMPOSSIBLE" to play to this crowd? lol biggest records u have, the end.

and why do you "assume the majority" of DJ's have pre-programmed or "pre-planned" sets? where are u getting this from Chung?
