Hi
Thoguht I would post this remix in here to see if got some feedback on it.
It's not finished (nowhere near), but i wanted to know what people think of the post break melody. I can't make up my own mind whether its good or !
So all critique welcome.
It's not mastered and only 80% complete but no point finishing it unless i know the melody is good and works.
So this is more about muscial feedback than production

There is this fuzzy white/pink noise that really clouds things up in your mix. I'm not sure if it's from delay/reverb clutter or it has its own generator but I'd get it out of there, particularly if its a noise generator you're using. A lot of the mix is just muddy and it sounds like all of the individual tracks could use more attention EQing. The lead is a little too prominent for being such a simplistic hook. I think it fits with the rest of the music that actually deserved a little more prominence.
All in all, I dig the tune. In terms of cleanliness in your mix, I'd refer to this thread as far as to what I'd aim towards:

While it's just a touch on the brightside, tehlord has mastered a rather consistent clarity that I think would make your song really shine. |

thanks. Like i said, this was for musical feedback on the riff. not production as i've barely touched the eq's and fx at all yet.
Jsut wanted to see if people like the actual melody before spending the time tidying it up, and I'm aware there is a laod of ti to do.

just listening to this again.... the background noise is my audio interface playing up when exporting the track. it randomly does it/. cheers for pointing it out by the way, will make sure it is working properly when finished. :-) |
