We're back for our next party featuring the eminent Lee Burridge. Music aficionados from around the world know that Lee represents something special: his storied career has taken him around the world, from nomadic DJing in Hong Kong and Thailand, to several critically acclaimed records, mixtapes, and most recently the birth of his own concept, All Day I Dream. We are excited to welcome this seminal artist to Washington DC, in an extended July 4th celebration in our nation's capital.
Lee's work has always focused on the emotive, deep, and instrumental facets of dance music. At the Burning Man festival, where Lee is an annual participant, his enchanting performances draw crowds in the hundreds with a signature blend of driving rhythms and memorable soundscapes. There is perhaps no better venue for this occasion than U Street Music Hall, ranked amongst the top dance clubs in the US for its impressive sound system and design.
Joining him on the decks will be Mike Fisher, who is no stranger to big clubs either. With releases on Nurvous, Stranjjur, and Spain's Movements Label. Mike is rapidly rising in prominence as a producer and DJ on an international scale. Having already played with Lee in the past, Mike brings his eminently dance-able deep house to the table. Expect solid bass lines and great melodies, wrapped together with skillful artistry and a sprinkle of magic.
