I had this laying around on the hard drive for a while. I was going to add vocals to it, but they just didn't work properly so I thought I'd up it for teh Cloud.
That's also the reason the layout sounds a little weird and sparse at times, I just ripped the vocals out.
Download it if possible. It sounds e on Soundcloud.

I really like this and the mix is great although a little more lower freq weight on teh snare perhaps would be suitable ole boy.
I may sing over it and see how badly I can ruin the beast. It just invites teh singing even if I am a crooner. |

Haha cheers EZ
But let's face it, even if it was 15 minutes long it'd still be too short for you ;)

I did push the snare at about (the classic) 200hz range but I suppose it could have gone a bit further.
Funnily enough this track did have vocals on it originally, but we just couldn't get them to sound right so they were ditched.
Fell free to croon old bean, it's there ready for download :p |

Mix and composition is good.
But the rest is really nothing more then mediocre, nothing that makes me go "Wow". Maybe because it's has all the basic ingredients and nothing more (Rolling bassline, Sidechained pad, Simple arpeg in the back). |

But it's very well done, and I was happy to have this on repeat for agaes while at work, whereas most similar tracks would fatigue my ear after a while.
Theres a ton of progressive plucky sounding demos out there, most of which are banal and poorly executed.
I like the finese and subbtlety here. |

| Agree with Richard here, while there's nothing really groundbreaking about this, there doesn't really need to be. It oozes class and a clarity that only comes with much experience. Can see where the right vocal part could take this, loads of potential. I'll be downloading this in a few days when my monthly data quota resets. |

Thanks dudes.
I do kinda agree with that Deillon fella in that it's not groundbreaking, but it was never meant to be.
I'm glad it works as a basic pop/dance tune though. As it was intended. :) |
