I hear what you're saying, think you're being sarcastic. He played a lot of recognizable tracks here in Denver like Pjaano, Allein etc. Maybe I was expecting a lot more but the set was ok. I really wanted to hear more ID's than anything. |

Not being sarcastic at all.
I didn't expect to hear Pryda, but I was shocked by what I heard. The music was driving, but in a maximal sort of way, and it was this uplifting cheesiness.
Trance heads might really like it.
Granted this was at an outdoor festival in the late afternoon. Maybe his club sets are different. |

| The guy hasn't played in the US for 4 years... and you weren't expecting Pryda? I'm kind of confused. Why wouldn't he play Pjanoo or Allein? |

Because Prydz's dj set sound is different than his productions under Pryda. |

| His set at Amnesia Ibiza last August was epic, have never seen a crowd react like that anywhere else! Wondering also if it was due to being outdoors, based on crowd reaction, etc. or if his mixing style has really changed? Guess we'll see soon! |

| No one should ever compare and outdoor or massive set to a club set. Smart DJs know they have to play very different (faster, more cheesey, more uplifting, etc). to appeal to the audience at those events (as most aren't "clubbers"). It's so much easier to "lose" that crowd. |
