writing an article, need some help
Wondering if people can list some of the most epic one-off EDM events from the last 10 years or so throughout the west coast.
I don't mean festivals.
I mean like stuff at red rocks or
an epic party with 3 headliners in a cool location one time

I like the impromptu stuff. LIke the free AvB + Gabriel & Dresden party at Mighty in 2004 (I think) right after WMC. AvB was out here creating Zocalo with G&D. Magical night. Less than a day's notice w/ just grass roots promotion (social outlets only)
Another one is def when Tiesto & Ferry unexpectedly tag-teamed at Ruby Skye...and then played Gouryella. They themselves thought it was so awesome, they decided to team up again at Dance Valley (or some other huge festival) later that year (and this time, it was promoted). |

Best three Hollywood Bowl shows I've seen: Massive Attack, Underworld, and Chemical Brothers.
Daft Punk at LA Sport Arena (basically same as their Coachella set).
Giant Village in 2007 was pretty amazing too - 80+ degrees at 3am. |
