What do you all do when you go to Tijuana? Or what cool spots do you go to?
I've been to Tijuana a few times in my life but always when I was younger and always for family affairs. Last time I went I was 16.
Might be going to TJ next week with some family and definitely could use some recommendations for places to go and things to check out.
If I go I'll be there for a few days, so any recommendations in Rosarito are also welcome. |

Across the street from Chicago. Off of Revolution Street.
Seriously what is there to do in TJ other than strip clubs and bargain items?
Rosarita is a boom town last I heard. (stay at Rosarito Beach Hotels, that is still open I hear, the rest of Rosarito is closed)
You may wanna drive to Ensenada. Not much more to do there either, except a buffalo water something that bounces off the water tourist trap. |

Theres lots to do in TJ.
Are you driving across or taking a taxi?
Are you going with someone that knows spanish?
I go a few times a month, there is lots to do there and in Rosarito and "Puerto Nuevo" which is heaven if you like lobster/seafood. |

We're taking a bus there.
I speak Spanish.
And I love Puerto Nuevo. Haven't eaten lobster there in years.

I used to love going to Plaza Del Zapato. I took some TA's there before. It's across the street from Plaza Rio and it's a square full of bars. That's where a lot of locals go or used to go. Again, I haven't been there in a while. We used to bar hop there.
TJ also has an underground scene. I think Lee Burridge is playing in Rosarito later on this month. |
