a few weeks ago i moved into my new place and i knew there was a mouse problem because the previous tenants had decon everywhere. i got rid of the decon because one my my dogs had previously been poisoned by it and i almost lost him.
the first night my dogs were here they caught 3 mice and i havent had a problem sense... who said only cats could catch mice? |

I hate seeing them. I have never seen one inside my apartment but my roommates said there was one a year ago (before i moved in).
I think I'll die.
ewww. I don't even know why I opened this thread. |

| Are mice this common in North America? I was 26 when I saw my first mouse... and I was on a farm! |

we get rats the size of cats in the warehouse...the boys killed one the other day with a shovel. glorious victory to the warehouse.
on a side note, you dont wanna be poisoning them in your house, if they die in floorboards = you get stinky house. |

They're actually rats, not mice.
Got some handyman I know from down the street to come over and take a look. We found a hole in the drywall behind the stove, and a hole in the concrete in the back. I guess they were getting inside the foundation from the back, and then into my place through the hole behind the stove. Pretty intricate for a little rodent.
Anyways, we put poison near both holes and will be filling them up in a few days.
I haven't seen any since the first one cried to its death. I wonder if that scared the out of the others. |

1. those electric wall things don't work
2. cats don't either
when you fill up the holes, be sure to use copper steel wool. rodents will chew through regular steel wool, but the copper tastes bad to them. also make sure your kitchen is immaculate, no loose fitting trash can lids or food left out. |
