Thank you, I'm glad you understand that that is all I meant. I didn't intend to bash anyone. I just want people on the customer end to understand what promo really is. I'm pretty big on trying to see things clearly, and then forming ideas and making decisions afterwards. Trusting DJ endorsements of clubs they have played is like trusting their top 10 lists on Beatport. Everything they say and do (with very few exceptions) is for their own gain in the end, not the customer's. I'm not trying to paint this as a negative thing, I just think people should understand that and make their choices accordingly.
Francis, I understand that you get a lot of heat in your position. I used to hate on Circus a few years ago, but have since stopped. I think that you are incredibly effective at your job and are a great asset to Circus. If Stereo were to hire someone of your ability your job would be much harder. |
