Where to park

Now maybe this has already been done, I don't know. But....
I keep reading in the Labour of Love thread that people had a real problem finding parking on Sunday. So I figured that none of you know of the $5 lot 2minutes walk from the Guv....
Here's what I propose... As a communal thing...
Post the best parking spots for some of our regular location (Guv, System, Viva, etc...) anywhere that you know of a sweet parking spot that you would like to share with your fellow TA's. Hey, if Julie_Spyder was looking for next project...
Anyway... Back to the Guv. There is a great spot just north of the rail lines on Queens Quay/Jarvis, on the West side. It's always empty, parking is $5 in coin, instead of 10, 15 or 20 in blood. It's also really safe... I have forgotten to lock my car there before and I have a sweet system in my car (granted the car is a POS... but what ya going to do), and nothing was missing. Also if you don't plan on staying till the wee hours (like you are going to a concert at Kool Haus that ends early) then on the far side of the complex directly across from the Kool H enterance are parking lots that are free and usually safe... Though I do know a few people who have been towed, so consequentally I usually go the other side of the tracks...

hehehe........ *must keep parking spots a secret from newbies!* ROFL!;)
no but really that was one the spots I knew about as well.
west of the GUV about 5-7 min walk there are a few parking places that only charge $5-7 for the night so u might want to consider that. And there is another one but it's very small so I am keeping that a secret. U never know when I might need to use it again! That's the spot I used when I went to the Labour...@ Guv, oh and BTW it was free! :eek: |

Man... Parking at the guvernment is FREE!!!!
YES!! People just don't realize that there are just so many street spots available on Jarvis (by the rabba) and Parliment. All ya got to do is be prepared to walk a bit.
In addition to that if your clubbling in the "entertainment district" park on University north of queen.
Of course it means you have to walk like 10 minutes to get to your destination but it gives me time to finsh my 40 and bun my spliff.
