WTF is going on with modern Trance?! Why is it just Basslines and no drop!?!

Im getting fed up with hearing modern Trance and how they no longer have drops. for example, the top "Trance" track on Track It Down today is this one: [[ LINK REMOVED ]]
How the can people listen to this and find it entertaining?? you get a massive buildup but then where there should be a massive drop, all you get is the same old boring bassline that you heard at the start of the song. and the most confusing part is, how the hell do the actuall producers themselves sit there and actually think that its a good idea to exclude a drop wen they have a huge melody and buildup?!?!
Any thoughts on this, or am I just going crazy??? |

It's been going on for a while. DJs ain't gonna change 'cause the crowd cheers regardless of what they play, so long as it's loud and has lots of flashy lights.
Do yourself a favor and forget the Top Trance Charts. The underground/psy stuff is mostly devoid of that nonsense. |
