Yeah so ill have it 2 years in October - truth be told i left it sitting there for a while after an initial burst of trying to put it in every track and realise it didnt work
Im putting that down to my lack of skillz at the time - because now i see what its all about
The Unison is so wide and good, the FM adds this kind of top edge to the sound, like a kind of fizzing that never gets harsh, even tho its kind of metallic, it really fills the top end out so well
But the one thing i often heard was how Nords cut through the mix - and i have to say i agree with that, even with the filter half closed it still dominates
anyways.......carry on :clown: |

w00t!
Whenever I've used one I deliberately keep it dry until I render to audio. Then I add bionic delay and artsacoustic and have some sex wee. |

1 big thing i forgot to add - the vibrato (LFO on OSC1 and OSC2) sounds so ing good.....really...... |

I haven't even got one here right now. I had one for a month or so a couple of years ago when a pal of mine was away and I've used them loads at other dudes studios. It's one of those that's 'on the list' if I ever sell my facking flat. |

I've been playing with one for a while now. Probably put about 10 hours into the board. It's pretty good, basically a Nord Lead 1 with more voices and, I think, and expanded FM section.
I keep on wishing it where a Nord Lead 3, to be honest. But it may be the best analog modeling I've ever played with. What it can do sounds better than a Nord Lead 3, I think, but not by a lot and certainly not enough to make up for its lack of features vs a Nord Lead 3. I'll have to get a Nord Lead 3 again so I can compare the two directly. |

Gotta +1 that.
It feels rubbery. |

I bought Nord Lead 3 in January and still know almost nothing about it :P
Ive recently done more or less first ever track made with nord (every synth sound) beside percussions. Would be great to know what do you think all feedback is better than none ;)

as long as you don't get the new ones which are just overpriced and sound worse.
I have a micro modular which has the same engine and G2 which has more options but sounds slightly thinner. The G2 modular is really a blast. It is actually fun and creative. |

I can't add anything to this conversation, much like my experience with the Nord 2. I only post as a forewarning for others. It's the type of synth that needs some level of experience before being able to fully utilize.
It can do some killer sounds! But, so many comparative models out there have built-in FX, which leave the Nord 2 sounding weaker by comparison. The Nord 3 was better.
But after I spent a few months with the Nord 2, sold it, and then got better with synths, I found it wasn't the synth, but myself that was the problem.
Don't know how many Crystal Method fans are on here, but those guys know how to use a synth, and that was one of their main ones. True VA. |

this little synth just keeps on surprising me - just a really brilliant synth once you starting digging into it and the filter is one of the best ive heard in analog/VA/software |
