Hey all, I was looking for a song and found this nice forum, seems quite active so I decided to make an account.
Personally for me trance is the genre I enjoy most, just gives me the highest rushes and makes me feel really good ;d
I started listening to trance in 2006 before that I was into rock and dance music, I wasnt aware trance even existed.
The two songs that got me into trance were The Lost Tribe - Gamemaster (signum remix) and The Thrillseekers - Synaesthesia when I heard them i was hooked like an addict. I kinda enjoy the original gamemaster more now.
Anyway from there I moved on to listen to some tech and uplifting.
Notable tracks:
tyDi - is it cold
global illumination - season turnaround
absolute - skyhigh
W&W - Dome (one of the best drops i heard)
San Antonio Harbour - Romantic Avenue
Then I moved on to some more commercial stuff like ATB, Markus Schulz, AVB and the ASOT gang, while also developing a taste for goa.
Noteable artists/groups worth mentioning - Arnej, Airbase, Cosmic Gate, Thomas Bronzewaer, Jonas Steur, Marco V, Leon Boiler, Yahel, The Blizzard, Infected Mushroom and lots of others.
Whenever I heard a song i loved, I added to a list. Currently I am having troubles remembering all the songs, which annoys the f^^k out of me.
Currently I am listening to classic trance and wow, it is so much more cosuming, just opens this new reality. Amazing, some examples:

Great vocals, Ange is by far one of the best uplifting voices listen to me Make me Feel if you like this one. Also the tune slowly builds and drops you down - a great experience everytime I listen to it. Aruna another female vocalist that is decent.

What can I say about this one? I listened to it a few times and loved it. But there was this one night me and my friends were playing WC3. We had some weed and later that night someone brought ketamin, just to say when this song came up heaven was real and I was there. The build and drop felt like an eternity of pleasure so this song will always have a place in my heart :)

Constantly listened this on an Amsterdam trip. Great track, another song I love of this type is DJ Shah | Adrina Thorpe | Who Will Find Me, which I am not sure if it was remix by AVB but the one I like is different than the original.

"barthezz - on the move" I have heard a bit of this one on some big 2 hour mix on youtube but was too short there ,the link you gave me is better tnx ;P
"Sam Sharp - In-Deep" didnt like this one that much too steady for me but sets a party atmosphere I remember sander van dorn had a nice party song

Skrillex has decent stuff and Guetta makes pop :D
