So Oakenfold is playing at Pacha this weekend and Brad brought it to my attention that Oakie has actually been producing legitimate trance the past year or so. Is anyone aware of this? I didn't even see an event flier pop up here.
Figured I'd share, if he plays what he's been producing the past year I think it will be really good.
His ASOT set this year:

| I feel like Oakie has actually gone back to his roots with an older school / psy trance sound over the past couple of years. Really digging his latest sets and think he's one of the few DJs supporting the (now) underground sound these days. |

+1. Listen to his new tracks. Glow In The Dark is a ing grade A banger. Full Moon Party is also phenomenal, particularly the Thomas Datt remix =D |

| Exactly my problem as well. Every time a dj comes to NY they think they have to play trouse. Because NY is all about house. |

| hmm that Glow in the dark track is actually good. I'm impressed. I always enjoyed his old psy era from the mid 90s |
