hi there,

Here's a mix I did last year of some of my favourite UK acid trance tunes from back in the 90's ... for fellow aging ravers this should bring back lots of pleasant memories, whilst for those of you who're a bit younger this stuff should be a real treat!

I've also written a hopefully half-decent essay about how I got into this music as a teenage raver which should be a nice accompaniment to the tunes. :)

Well like you said in the article, this is an area of music that has been largely undocumented, at least by thoughtful, articulate commentators. As time goes on and these scenes become older than the living memory of anyone on a modern dancefloor, they could very easily be forgotten, with only retroactively canonised scenes and acts being written into the history books.
