one thing tho - the guy on bbc was all like "this is a sound we haven't heard from danny daze yet". i kinda laughed - if i heard that track live for the first time my first thought would be that it was definitely a danny daze track

That's a perfectly valid response. I was just pointing out that your classic critique of someones appearance as a punch line to your seemingly never-ending tirade against anyone who chooses to wear a certain type of sunglasses is pretty old.
I understand the Nico Jaar hating, but I really don't see your need to criticize people like this just because of how they choose to dress. Have you ever heard an interview with him? He's about the least pretentious artist in that genre around now.
I just don't think "OH MY GOD LOOK AT HIS SWEATER" is anywhere near relevant or funny after you've said the same thing ad nauseum about pretty much any techno DJ who has gained any semblance of popularity.
If you don't like the track, say you don't like the track. Don't try to make some stupid joke about what they look like.
