hey guys, how do you do this track to the snare drum? You can hear it at this link: It happens around 0.55 seconds.
What kind of effect is it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_X23_NgI0A

Turn the pitch up gradually and sweep a high pass filter up from the bottom end...

Whats a good high pass filter i can use with Cubase? Any suggestions?

Honestly I don't think the transition from 2:55-3:00 was executed very smoothly. It just sounds off to me.

doesn't cubase come with one? Fruity Loops has a basic filter that comes with it called 'fruity filter' and I assume the basic parameters on a filter are the same regardless of which one you use.
