Rape Tax.... (pg. 2)

how they made the ing link between that and rape is beyond me. Those are the types that pay for sex. I'm sure there is a extensive study that i just haven't read that clearly shows the link.
I've been once for a bachelor party. I didn't really get it. Like the dancing was not very good, the girls looked miserable. The people were loud and obnoxious, they had bottled beer. I think for that type , it is more about bounding. Males think other males love it so they exaggerate how much fun they are having. Like most sports. It is the male version of say getting your nails done.
Once when i was arrested, i was in the general area where you wait to see a judge who decides if you can leave on your own recognizance. There was about 30 people there. It was the most interesting thing in the word. I mean people you just didn't think existed. Well they were talking about actual strippers names, how much they cost for full service, what time to go, there was a pimp in there that had some trannys and he was exchanging numbers with some guy. There was a she/he there who was telling some junky who was talking about banging heroin into his groin. I honestly can't say i found the process anything but interesting. Guarantee you none of them had a highschool diploma. I mean it was another ing world. Like if you were to talk to them, you would have to really adjust how you speak.
I think there are two types. The ones that go because its a manly thing to do. Then there is the type that goes there because that is his scene. Criminals , prostitutes, drugs. It all goes hand in hand. And most strippers are escorts / prostitutes. They pay to actually do their dance on the stage. They make their money by ing the clientele. some do more than others. IN montreal, strippers actually customers in plain view. I mean you apparently don't see it, because it is dark and dingy but if you look for it , that lap dance is more than a lap dance.
but when i was in Calgary, i was told that they don't actually allow lap dancing where liquor i served so i think it depends. But i mean it would make sense from a promotional point of view for any escort that isn't but ugly to limelight as a stripper. |

There are exceptions, but it's usually horny young boys who want to party, or lonely middle-aged men who want to splurge.
Usually the hole-in-the-wall strip clubs attract more of the older men, while the upscale ones attract more of the younger popular crowd.
American strip clubs are no match for the red light districts abroad. It's much more fun. |

Does anyone here have a habit of going to strip clubs? I've never been myself, and I've never known anyone who has been more than once or twice, which makes me wonder what sort of people the "regulars" are. |
I went to one, once, just to see what the appeal was. I'd had a couple of friends who were strippers and they always seemed really jaded about it. Phenomenal money but there seemed to be a pernicious toll for working in a profession that rewards self-objectification for a clientele who mostly place a premium on physical appearance.
Some of it was fun but that was reconciled out by what I would characterize as perverse under-currents from both male customers and the female dancers. There's something wretchedly pathetic about watching a man, old enough to be her father, tuck a 20 dollar bill in a g-string. The lap dance was an even more surreal experience, with her and I carrying on a conversation about how she got started and why she continued while she moved against my body in a manner completely under-appreciated by my curiosity about who she was. It was as though she felt perfectly comfortable doing what she was doing without so much as a hint of either inhibition or arousal. I may as well have been a mattress with her tossing and turning (albeit with a little more intent) on top of me. Plenty of style and even finesse but no passion; which, I suppose, is the way it should be. The end, when it was time to fork over $60.00, was so business-like that the value of the actual conversation, which was about as meaningful as a pizza delivery, was just obliterated.
The weirdest part of the evening, however, was after the lap dance. A new girl was dancing for the first time and, in what I understand to be a somewhat common occurrence for new strippers, was becoming aroused. It's something about the act of exhibitionism that lends itself to the arousal but it was palpable. Prior to her dance, she had circulated around the club, inviting others to sit at her table (a bottom lit, thick glass-top with leather bumpers framing its octagonal shape). I'm sit down at the table with five other guys and she's seriously coming onto me; her first or second dance ever and, well, it's flattering and all but awkward, none-the-less. I tipped her $5.00 and left, for the evening.
I suppose there's some benefit to be gained by being a regular but, as "stimulating" as the experience was, it seemed utterly bereft of anything worth investing that much time in. The girls were young and pretty - not the sort who need to rely on dim lighting to mask otherwise obvious imperfections - but the thought of becoming invested in the whole charade felt perverse and venal. Maybe there's something to it with a group of friends, there, but regularly being there for what's on offer is a seedy side of existence that doesn't live up to the fantasies it tries to portray. |

So basically, what you're saying is that you stared her, in the eyes nonetheless, with a visible tente de les pantalones during the entirety of her performance, and when she was done she though 'hey let's throw the old a guy a bone' and when she went to initiate contact afterwards you bailed? |

lol generous!
Ya, the thing about strippers is that they all will say they aren't like the rest. They are going to school .... Like escorts, or prostitutes, they are con artists. The're only job is to get as much money from you. You have no idea how much they despise you.
And there is not one stripper that hasn't had some sort of event in their life that left them scared for life. It just doesn't happen. And if it does, they will have it happen in about a month from starting.
I mean i find them interesting to talk to purely because they have some ed up stories. But they are all ed up. And i think that is the biggest reason i don't take part. They are miserable, and anything you do will just add to that. And knowing this, that you are adding to their misery, even if they aren't quite people , i don't know. |

Yes. :(
Except I was 25 when I went so, I wasn't as old and decrepit as I am now. |
