I have another track on it's way.
I am not done, and I have a few items I know need changing but want to see what others have to say. Will also add some bells and hwistles. For those curious, in relativity one of the applications for an 'event horizon' is the boundary at which matter can no longer escape the pull of a black hole.

This is what i would try out if i were you.
2;52-3;07 That guitar theme
@ 4;00 but then using the hard lead
So same melody ;) |

I don't really know what you mean by that? I feel bad because as an English speaker I just speak English to everyone and never have to speak their language to them. So veel dank.
I have to create something instead of the guitar. It sounds really bad and ruins the flow of the song. |

Don't really agree with this statement - this makes really nice and interesting slowdown/chilling out effect in this rather massive and overpowering sound - I personally like it as is but you could develop it or support it even more with some more calm and melodic structure around it - this could be a dance floor killer :D if is properly finalize.
Cheers,

Idk, you like the guitar? I am going for Swedish House Mafia not a trance track though so I just think it sounds out of place. Also, I need to work on the synth that is playing the arp. I like the intro and the climax though and to me if you have a good climax, you have a potential track. |

| Pretty cool, but definitely not house. :D |

NO ! Not take the guitar away !
Like you said that gives it the nice flow.
Just leave all as it is
But at 4 min not use the simple melody that the hard lead uses now.
But let that lead play the same melody as the guitar.
Then that strong lead becomes an add to that guitar.
So definitely not take that away.
If you use that same melody on the hard lead
Then 16 beats later the kick starts
So then you make that part stronger
Now its only 2 notes , then it's an add to that flow giving melody ;)
So
1] just mute the sequence thats played in the lead at 4.00
2] create another track in your sequencer and set it to that same midi channel
3] copy the sequence that the guitar plays
4] paste it on the new seq track on 4 min below the muted sequence
5] copy it twice so you also hear it when kick starts
Then you'll get it what i mean ;) |

It brings special character to this track but this is definitely your choice, if you don't feel it fits you overall concept then it is time to let it go ;)
I like it though !!!

Good effort, the idea works. But ffs less sidechain on reverbs, seriously, it takes away the momentum.
The guitar is ok, but give it more soul. Maybe subtle 1 octave higher clone notes.
Or layer it with another instrument. For example a harp or some similar string instrument, or maybe the classic trouse piano?
And work on your overall mix.
Cheers. :) |

Thanks, a lot of good advice. Will use less sidechain. And, 'trouse' is what I am going for. |

Main drops are a good dance floor destroying material. The guitar mate is a bit heavy handed and not very pro sounding.
Keep working at the elements and you have a winner. |

:) I am going for a 'hands in the air' moment

Absolutely. Product of poor judgement after working a few hours straight on the track.
Now back to working on 'Mega' ;) |
