9 people stabbed at Dublin Swedish House Mafia Concert

As if the stabbings weren’t enough, the BBC report also states that a 20 year-old attendee died “from a suspected drugs overdose.” According to the outlet, he sought medical care on site but died later in a hospital. The victim has not yet been identified, so if you know anyone who went to the show — officials are advising friends and family to check that loved ones have gotten home safely.
This is clearly a massive tragedy, and we expect more information to continue flowing out as the story unfolds.

| This is clearly a case of people stabbing themselves in the ears again. Happens at every SHM show. Their manager always finds some innocent guy to take the fall. What a waste of taxpayer money getting the cops involved. |

Bad apples ing it up for everyone... the problem with like this is that it gets tied to SHM which then gets tied to EDM.
Same thing happened with Hiphop... just because you like a certain type of music doesn't mean you're automatically connected with the bad elements that also like that music. Don't fall into the same trap. |

but you know the media will do exactly that... i can see it now... 'raves are getting more and more dangerous as....'
BAH. we've been working to stay in the limelight and now that we are, its going to be more negative. if it ain't negatives about drugs, etc., its now stabbings. great. |

next time you see somebody who looks like they might potentially stab someone at a party, don't hesitate-- stab them first.
