any other TA's goin? Shoreline sucks but couldnt beat $25 for pvd, not to mention prydz/nero/madeon/etc
and i live 3 miles away :) |

Madeon and Nero aren't playing this show, FWIW.
Prydz and Noisia are the only people who really excite me, although they're adding an "underground" locals stage which is pretty nice but its not really a draw cause I can see those guys anytime. I have some friends who might go and I live in Palo Alto so it's not exactly a journey if I decide to go for it.
I'm not sure about paying $60 though. |

Not all artists tour. For the stages that arent the UNderground locals stage these are the acts:
ERIC PRYDZ, EXCISION, PAUL VAN DYK, HARDWELL
BINGO PLAYERS, SHOWTEK, NOISIA, DOCTOR P, ARTY, ADRIAN LUX, LE CASTLE VANIA
EVA SIMONS, THE EYE, AUDREY NAPOLEON, KERLI, STEPHAN JACOBS, COLE PLANTE
I am going for Prydz and PVD as well. Arty isnt what he used to be. Hardwell I will tolerate for a bit. But the rest I either have no idea who they are are not a fan of them (basically if its dubstep ill pass).
This is better than last year though. last year was pretty much Aoki and friends + kaskade.
Production was weak last year so hopefully they step it up some.
And yea Palo Alto here as well so going cause its outdoors and not too out of the way. Just has to be Prydz or PVD closing mainstage. |

i[m hoping prydz and pvd are on the same stage. if you want to actually dance you're going to have to enter the seated area of the main stafe when doors open and not leave. it fills up within a couple of hours and they shut off entry.
(otherwise you get stuck on the slanted lawn area)
and ugh, sucks about madeon. havent seen him yet. i've seen nero 4 times so not a biggie for me, but i know my gf will be upset :P |

I didnt go last year. Thanks for the heads up on the seats being closed off pretty early.
If you are at the seats though you pretty much cant leave there then huh - i mean there are no restrooms or concessions there. Thats the downside of it. The lawn has them in the back. |

Last year I pretty much just danced on the grass the whole time. It was a good view, but when it started to get dark, there were so many people. Either way you can still hear the music in any area within the amphitheater.
Don't get double shots if you're planning on drinking. Made the mistake of sayin yeah to this last year and it was $20! |
