Thanks to everyone for the comments on the epiKa original mix - I've worked through them and the final track is better as a result. here is the promised trance mix, this is a WIP so any comments about the track would be really appreciated!
let me know what you think, it;s faster and just generally more trancey!
Cheers

Oh yeah, this does much better!
Now, if you add some effects and minute details it will be ready to rock. Try to bridge some of the phrases together with noise builds, synth swells, and the like. |

| Nice little chugging along you have here, but that clap hits me the wrong way. Something tighter I would like more. Really nice atmosphere in the breakdown man, great work. The drop is kinda sexy too. It seems like some of the detail in the highend disappears a little toward the end once everything is opened up, and the arrangement might need some work. Good stuff though. |

Thanks for the comments and taking the time to listen.
i'm a little concerned that this track isn't very 2012 after leaving it for a day.. may do a little more on it to make it sound a bit more up to date..

The problem is the subtle things like bringing it all together and having a good flow and transitions. The intro is not great and the mixing is a not perfect either. Just got to work on the technical stuff and structure.
I like a lot of the musical ideas in this. The medieval like singing is cool. |

That singing is sublime - is lifted from some University choir cd or something?
Very epic break, although I agree it does ned some tidying mate and the intro you could do better what with your skill level. |
