Alright guys,
I've got that urge to get behind the decks again as a hobby or to put it in other terms, DJ to my mates when we get back from a club ;). So whilst looking for an all-in-one unit to satisfy my desires, I've come across these two devices from American Audio: The SDJ2 and Encore 1000. Does anyone know anything about them and/or have a recommendation?
All I want is the ability to mix two tunes together and do 1 or 2 bar loops, nothing too fancy. I play house and techno usually (classic trance for a treat) if that's of any use to yalls.

You have a computer or Mac, right?
CD-players are outdated and overpriced, and American Audio is a no-no brand, so I'd suggest you get yourself a NI Traktor Kontrol S2 .
Midi controller and audio interface in one, plus you'll get a copy of Traktor 2.5. I have one paired with a F1 controller, can't say Ive missed the CDJ1000s for one second. |
