sound quality is but still its a lot of emotion here!
i have some questions for you:
1)when this is gonna be release?
2)Where can i buy your mix of solarcoaster on 12"?
3)are you still working on ligaya?

Greetings :)
I really like airbase productions. I downloaded all stuffs from your site :D while I found something interesting about your productions. Would like to share my view :) (ps: my eng sucks :( )
All of airbase productions got very melodic synth at the major part of the tune that's the way I like airbase :) The way of the melody flow is ... um... somehow similar to flutlicht's (and I like flutlicht too ... :) ) but the way airbase's flow is very ... um ... strange. The key in (some) airbase melody often fluctuates between the relative minor and major (mostly minor to major and back to minor) (while this did not happen in solarcoaster remix). I can see there is a outline frame of the whole part of the melody (start at low , and the higher in the middle then come back low) but the flow inside is very unstable. The disadvntage is that you found that the melody is going to reach its climax but err.. it didn't but close to. It's really fun to listen tho! :D and also maybe a style unique for airbase hehe ;) Also the intro ,buildup, bassline etc are very nice :cool:

Apparently Mr. Airbase just posts to get praise on his productions (which are top notch).
It wouldn't hurt to post things other than your tracks afterall people are always looking for comments, suggestions, tips, etc on there productions. You rarely even reply in your own threads.
I already know what you're going to say in return "I'm busy this and that", so am I but it doesn't take too long to write a simple response.
I appologize if this sounds a bit harsh, I respect your work, I just needed to get it off my chest.

I didnt really catch that major/minor-thingy, Im not musically trained. I know what minor and majors are, but dont think in any cerain way when producing, does it sound good to me, well, then it sounds good to me =)
This will be released on vinyl with the original (can be heard on www.starfleetrecords.org) on EMT Design anytime soon!
Sure I am busy, and I would like to keep track in this forum and listen to other peoples productions. The thing is, Im a nice guy, I hate hurting peoples emotion, and I really have difficulties in telling anyone that has put hours and hours of effort into a track that I think its bad. I can be honest for sure, but I really hate to make people sad. And also, as I am on ICQ almost 24/7, I get so so so so many tracks sent to me that people wants my opinion about, I have to listen to so darn much music by amateurs like me, and I really cant take more onto my shoulders... Hope you understand what I mean. I see your point also, so I will from time to time check in and listen and try to comment the music I hear overhere!
BTW, the solarcoaster remix wont be released at all. Solar Stone liked it, their label didnt... |

hmm, i remember the time when you were a 'climbing' artist and also listened to my tracks hehe... which were far far less back then of course ;)

then go ahead, and place it on your sweet mp3.com page ;) will you make a remix album of the tracks you've remixed? it would be a nice addition : 'airbase - the remixes' or so ;) |
