only one of them will be there...not sure why always billed as "aly & fila".
i should get a promo group to bill "Gouryella" with a picture of tiesto and that up and comer ferry corsten and then just book ferry to play since he comes fairly cheaply.

any word on aly's hearing conditions? maybe he still helps with the music productions
DaveT
They still produce as a duo -- I think I have seen Aly in some photos at events in the last year, but maybe they were old photos. I think he was just there - not playing.

Anyhow, in the interview I read with Aly it sounded like it was a for-life condition. Could be wrong.

I actually really respect Fila for keeping the DJ name as the duo. Looks like some here doesn't (and I don't care if it looks a little deceiving if they know he won't play -- I'm sure the management requires it and it shows that Fila himself isn't selfish.)

I thought it was false advertising when they/he first started coming to San Francisco(ten15). Once I heard about Aly's condition, I got over it. It's definitely commendable that both are still working together and I assume that Aly is contributing to producing so I respect the brand.(and I love their productions)

Well 4 Strings has a similar way of doing things;

Carlo Resoort produces all the music, Jan de Vos is the DJ.

Aly doesn't travel with Fila because he's scared of flying...

I ordered presale tix and never have been to Ruby Skye.

How early should I get to the door to avoid waiting in line (or will there be a line for presale folks)?

Any tips on where to park?

I plan on wearing jeans and a button up short sleeve dress shirt. Are running shoes okay?

Part on oferrel and mason at the garage. Is $15 or $20 and right across the street

Running shoes may not be okay, depends on how they look, and of security even checks your shoes
GeminiZ
Don't wear running shoes. Wear dress shoes or some nice/plain style shoes.
Everything else looks good.

I typically try to find metered parking on Bush(two streets up parallel to Post.)(FREE)
I can park here all night till 7am the next day.
If not I park in the Garage on Mason @ OFarrell.($20 til 9am)

See ya there!

wear shoes you are comfortable with. black sneaks are fine. vessel or slide might be a bit more strict, but ruby is chill. you can probably find free street parking up on post 1 block north of ruby.

you can wear t-shirts here if you want, dont sweat the collar. i'd get there 10pm, then go hit up starlight room at sir francis drake for a drink, great view up there.

Comp list for those who'd rather not pay

I remember when the Mason & Ofarrel garage was $8. Then $12. Then $15. When I left Friday night, it was $18. Just gonna street park in the future.
