One memory I have with this track, it was around 7am and I was looking out the window, watching the sky and listening to this tune. To the left the sun was rising and to the right there was a storm brewing up. The sky to the left was COMPLETELY, like literally completely drawn in red and the sky to the right was dark blue due to the storm. Right where my window was both sides hit, there wasn't even any transition between the two sides, just a straight line and you went from red to blue. I've never seen anything like it before and ever since.
I don't really have a cool story attached to this track, sorry. I listen to a lot of this 'witch house' music that got quite popular lately late at night when I'm driving home from work. And from all these artists with weird symbols in their names (OOoOO, †‡†, M△S▴C△RA, LAKE R▲DIO, ~▲†▲~ - yes, those are actually names of these bands) undeservingly filling up my USB stick making sometimes really non-authentic, cheesy and even laughable music, only Holy Other makes stuff that you could call thought out and well crafted. Quality of their stuff is instantly recognizable and it's like a breath of fresh air when one of their tunes comes on. I recently found out that their debut album is coming out this year (and the previews sound amazing), so I'll soon have something to replace this tragicomic collection of mine and occupy my lonely driving nights.

The Last Resort is a masterpiece in my opinion, and like most of my favourite albums it has a definitive memory attached to it, a moment where reality perfectly aligned with the music, like two waveforms matching and creating resonance. I briefly lived in Liverpool with a couple who rented out the spare rooms of their flat, and they used to get drunk on red wine and have horrific arguments all night. I remember one evening I decided I had to get out of that poisonous atmosphere and I went walking aimlessly around the streets near Toxteth graveyard, past deserted bus shelters and luminous fast food shop fronts, just listening to this album.
Some other obvious answers: Untrue, Blue Lines, Timeless, Los Angeles, ISDN... The second disc of Northern Exposure only makes sense after midnight.

ultimate insomnia tune for me. a friend of mine dubbed it "the suicide song"
this is something i really enjoy to listen after midnight (did not want to go with usual burial night stuff). sadness and melancholy perfectly fit with 'after midnight atmosphere' in the air.

I tend to listen to pretty bleak things in the late night.
