Your Dream Party
View this Thread in Original format
Forever Forward
Where would it be? Who would you invite? What would be involved? Who would perform?

I'd fly 1,000 people down to the Maldives and throw a rave.

5:00-7:00pm: Maceo Plex
7:00-9:00pm: Steve Lawler
9:00pm-11:00pm: Jaytech
11:00-1:00am: Above & Beyond
1:00-4:00am: Eric Prydz
4:00-6:30am: Richie Hawtin
6:30-close: Gui Boratto

Free everything. Massage therapists, fire spinners, sunny weather, and a starry night sky.

Then, have a couple days to rest. Everyone can hang out on the island before we all go on a boat cruise with:

Deep Dish
Sasha & Digweed

:)

although decent acts i dont think the party would take off with this schedule, way too many mix/match of different styles..

Hahaha, don't worry, I'm sure I wouldn't have much difficulty persuading 1,000 other people to go ;)

I think Maceo Plex flows into Lawler nicely. Lawler to Jaytech is a bit of a stretch, but I'm sure they could make it work. Jaytech to Above & Beyond to Prydz all make perfect sense. Prydz to Hawtin is a jump, but I can't see people complaining. Ending with a sunrise Boratto set to calm things down after Richie goes wild would be delightful. Plus, we'd be in the Maldives! An iPod on shuffle would keep people dancing.

Gabber set by DJ Shaya open to close

I remember someone posted an old flyer for a CN Tower jam that happened many a years back. Would be amazing if someone was able to make that happen in modern times. Probably now easier than ever given the mainstream "acceptance" events...

What a craptacular lineup(for the most part), no offense. I mean if you're gonna make a fictional lineup I think a certain degree of logic should still be exercised no?

Logic? In one's tastes?

It is their dream party. They will get anybody they want to. Common people, stop being so serious.

I haven't seen a 'dream party' thread in ages.

Dear Debbie Downer,

I'm flying 1,000 people to the Maldives. Logic is not a prerequisite. Plus, the lineup makes wonderful sense to my mind.

Anyone else have a dream party?

Cielo has the best sound ive ever heard, and is the most intimate venue ive ever been to.
