| I'm saying, for that money, it doesn't really matter :). |

Oh come on, any major update for Windows of this kind costs you 10 times the amount of money. |
Monthly updates/bug fixes are free. Major releases happen in about every 3-5 years. New OSX version comes what every six months and what do you get?
I'm few releases behind with my iMac because I have no idea why I should upgrade. |

That's a horrible argument, and your major update for Win-argument doesnt hold up either. You pay once, when you purchase the OS, then you have free access to hot-fixes and all future service packs, which incidentially is exactly what this Mac OS-release is. It's a service pack. And you just paid 20 bucks for it. |

you dont pay or purchase OS X, it comes free with your computer. you pay a small amount for later upgrades instead. call it servicepacks if you want, but i dont see any point in comparing anything with how windows does their bloodsucking. theres no need to compare OS X with Windows as its two completely different ways of doing things. Some like to pay 200USD every 3-5 year for something completely new - with no apps working, no driversuppport etc, others like to pay 20USD once a year to have smaller upgrades. or just skip versions like many and wait for the bigger upgrades or for when you get a new MAC. no point in comparing the two. |

If Microsoft would releases a new Windows every 5 yrs and mac a 20$ update every 6 months mac OS would be just as expensive as windows. Unforunately there is a new version of windows just about every 3 yrs. You lose. Mac saves you money on the OS compared to Windows. :) Of course you pay extra for the fancy hardware.
Most people would happily pay that 20$. If I had a mac I know I would. It's a very clever and affordable model, given the huge fanboy-ism factor mac-users have. It doesn't really matter if the updates are visually or under the hood. You just want them. |

What apps are not working?
First five external things I connected to my iMac needed drivers to be installed.
I just don't understand these arguments. iMac is nice, but nothing too special. There are things that I hate about windows, but there are atleast same amount of things I hate about OSX. |

I am still producing on Windows XP, lol.
I dunno, never understood why people are so quick to update their OS, assuming you already have something that works fine for you. |

I don't have one and have no intent paying for one :). Unless I'll venture into app development that is. |

XP is solid as one of my regular s. ing carbonated to the bone. If I wasn't so keen on running 64-bit plugins I'd still be using XP, and it's actually not until very recently I've gone full Win7. |

| I never paid for snow leapord. that. Certain things I steal on principle. I will never buy an OS. I also feel that any line up at a corporate convenient store that takes longer than I feel, that store has waived their right to my money. If I eat it before I pay, I don't pay. |
