Anybody going to this tommorow, I will be there, If you liek Breaks and progressive sounds, Mr Zabiela is the man. Sasha has taken him under his wing as of late and many people in Europe say he is the next Sasha,
I have heard a couple of his sets and cds, and i must say he is very good, He has got huge reviews from his gigs all over Europe and the States.
It will be interesting how the Guv crowd takes to his music :) :) :) |

| I didn't go, but I've heard a few sets and I heard him at Homelands this year. Unbelievably skilled, just not my style. I'd be more inclined to just watch him then get into his tunes. |

well the first track of his set was very classy, started it off slow. but ya for some reason the next 4 tracks were boring, i wasn't too much into it. sooner or later i knew he wud start playing more banging stuff and so he did by dropping progressive nu-skool breaks, and holy talking about Zabiela's scratching skills!!! this guy was scratching mad on the decks, amazing skills James :) he scratched so perfectly to the track ILS - 6 Space, that was pure amazement for me seeing a stylish dj like James Zabiela. overall, i liked his set, but it was too mellow, too much of Sasha style. some of the songs weren't really danceable, they were good for the mind consciousness ;)
good job by Zabiela, 10/10 for his mixing skills! set 8/10 |
