Ektoplazm needs TA's help!

I'm sure most of you have heard of Ektoplazm, and if you haven't, it is the world's #1 source for free and legal psytrance, techno, and downtempo music. The site needs donations to stay alive. If anyone could help out by donating $10 bucks or more, it would help our friend DJ Basilisk reach his goal and keep the site running stronger and better than ever. Any help would be great.

I just donated 15 to that thing using paypal.
Also I don't think you need to donate 10 dollars or more, you just need to donate 10 to get on the supporters list. |

Basically it's one of those starter project things (like the one that funded ouya and stuff).
You can use paypal (I think that might be the only method actually) to donate to it, and if you donate over 10 dollars you get on the supporters list, 60 you get a t shirt as well, 800 you get free mastering for an album and lots more stuff at various price points. |

| I donated $120 bucks a couple days ago. I felt it was well worth it, considering I have downloaded probably more than 100 albums from that site. I wish I could give the $2600 limit :( |

I feel as if I'll be in a much better position to realize the vision outlined in the pitch if Ektoplazm 2.0 is supported entirely by the community. I've certainly considered other sources of funding but decided, after a great deal of thought, that bootstrapping this project is the best way forward. Besides, I don't have a well-defined exit strategy (generally a prerequisite for angel investment); the plan is to create a service that offers real, lasting value for music lovers. I've been working on this for years now in an offhand fashion... now I'd like to get serious :D |

i've started one business and am planning to start another soon, so i completely understand where you're coming from. i never checked out the site, but i will shortly and help out in any way possible. :) |
