Wish they actually had a discount list. All the links and pages I see are selling $35 tickets... for a Sunday show! :eyespop:

It's there in the giant webpage (maybe it wasn't when you looked).

Well this was a very last minute (slightly inebriated from a BBQ) decision that turned out being an excellent one, despite my 3 hours of sleep. I was stoked to see ksky have the full opening set. Overall she had good build and crowd control, just a little too mellow for my taste from time to time, especially with how hard Ferry came in. I was really surprised with Ferry's set. I haven't seen him in a club since he was at Heat wayy back. His newer sound is definitely energetic and had the crowd moving, I actually really enjoyed a lot of it. His little crowd interactions were cool too, you can tell he's humble just by how he talks to (and respects) the crowd.

Saw Greg and a few other TAs in passing but i didnt catch them in time to say hi, hope you guys had fun! We had a blast, will definitely catch him again soon. Now time to recover

*Edit: I LOVED the Coldharbour support this weekend from Ferry and Armin, they stick out like crazy from most of the rest of the productions of the night yet they transition in and out so easily, genius Markus!

how was the turnout? if it was a sold out show, perhaps ferry will get a saturday night show at avalon one of these days. poor guy getting the sunday holiday weekend shows when a lot of people are out of town and can't count on the older asians to support. would not be surprised if they never had a line up in the front area to get to the dance floor. keep at it ferry, someday, someday soon!

Armin on Friday and Ferry last night. My head hurts but both shows were great. Ferry went super old school toward the end and was playing a bunch of Gouryella tracks and other old stuff that I couldn't recognize. I need to brush up on my classics. His English was a little hard to understand. It seems like he's been drinking a bit more at his shows lately, or is it just me?

Anyway, he started playing at 12:30 and I left at 4 and he was still going. Not sure how late he played. A great night - Avalon was just the right amount of crowded - you could enter & leave the dancefloor all night but it was still pretty full. I had a blast. Ferry killed it and Kristina's opening set was nice and mellow, which I appreciated. My fav of the night was probably "Made of Love" and of course "Beautiful", one of my favorite tracks of all time. And I don't think I'll ever get tired of hearing Language live. Such a good track.

packed. great turnout. wrapped up with a bunch of classics the last hour, the place was banging! gouryella, system f - solstice, veracocha - carte blanche, simon patterson - mood swing, etc... and ended with gabriella's sky, which i've been wanting to hear him play forever. awesome night!

Last hour was definitely epic. Ferry does drink a lot when he DJ's, dude could hardly talk later on in the night. He even screwed up beat matching at one point, at least he acknowledged it and laughed about it.

haha yeah i remember that. he completely trainwrecked and then he got on the mic and said something like 'well that's what happens when everyone on stage wants to take a shot with you!' ... awesome, haha

Ha ha I love the way Ferry handled the trainwreck. Forgiven! I loved the entire set which I haven't said about him in a while but I have only seen him at festivals and LV for the last few years. Guess I just prefer club, non-LV, Ferry. The last hour was pure EPIC. Everyone was going out of their minds. I had a guy come up to me, probably newer into the scene, and say he didn't know what the heck any of those tracks were but it was amazing!

last night made me a Ferry believer. I thought his sets were meh at EDC 2012, Feb Avalon, and even last year's Labor Day weekend Avalon set. But after last night from 2:30 till close (5) i was in trance heaven.

anyone remember if he played Into the dark?

Day 5

I went with trance_seeker. We got there around 10:45. The will call line was quick. I noticed GA was $50! There was no music in the Honey room (closed after will call) or the Jerry Lewis room (closed all night). They did have the capacity control fences but I guess they never reached capacity so they got rid of them later. Kristina Sky did a good job opening, it was more upbeat than before which was good. Like everyone has said Ferry played a fantastic trancey set. I was telling trance_seeker Ferry has redeemed himself for all the previous appearances. We stayed till the end (after 5), my legs are hurting today!
