PvD was $25 the first time I went back in 2005/2006? I remember it poured HARD that year but had the time of my life.
Not too upset that I bought these at $30 plus the $12 in handling fees........ :clown: More excited to see SJ/RM than anyone else.
Can't wait for this mess.. :o |

these guys are so brilliant with marketing.
thursday: pre-sale for "facebook fans".. sold out 75% of show + created hype.
friday: regular sale, sold out in minute + crazy hype
friday afternoon: announce after party.
sometime next week: repeat process for afterparty.
it's funny/sad/brilliant that 50% of the EDM blow up is from extremely clever marketing. the reason deadmau5 is so huge is because he wore a funky hat. genius. |

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that Steve Angello at Pacha is what sucked about Steve Angello at Pacha. |

| He wasn't true to his steve angello roots, he played a set that chus and ceballos would've played. I have no problem with deep house, tribal house, tech house etc. BUT for steve angello to play like that nahh.. stick to your roots man. |

i'm a little lost. lately he's been a cheeseball, playing SHM-esque crap, so the fact that he played a C+C type of set would be an upgrade.. no? |

| Dragged by friends, I went to see him at 466 in nj. I can confirm that he plays the same cheesy electro housy stuff that he is famous for. It will indeed be an upgrade if he played tech tribal stuff. Had a great time though, when your kinda hammered everything sounds good. |
