Hey everyone, what's the synth he used?
I thought that was Arturia Origin, but it's not...

Pretty funny, chariots of fire, that one bass note over and over. Nice ending too.

You do realize he isn't actually playing

As a side note, that orchestral arrangement was just awful. Sounds like a teenager made it.

Di-sect it so we can all learn please.

I suppose my main complaint would be the use of the brass in really awkward ways. The lack of texture, the complete sterile and static orchestra even during the more solemn part with the choir. Then you have strings 1-2 playing in unison in the high register with the middle completely gutted. I get that the focus is on mr bean but it is the games anthem and it just sounds rather poorly thought out. And at times it feels like half the orchestra is not playing. It isn't really a taste thing, just orchestration 101 type stuff that makes you kinda go wft.

To be honest, i think what you are hearing in the video broadcast is a sample library composed version. There is just something really weird about it. Not to mention the key for a brass and string based composition.

Are theses rules you should never ever break even for artistic licence?

I'm blown away so few people noticed this... I didn't want to say anything :/

They are not rules. Just common sense being aware of the instruments, their strengths and emir weaknesses. Like high passing certain elements to make room for your bass. Not a rule , just common sense that serves a technical purpose.

I mean they could of picked a platitude of very qualified people. Why they chose Howard Goodall is rather strange. It sounds like a ty tv mock up which is what Goodall does.
