Wow this thing looks amazing
I planning to buy the 10GB unit next week
If you havent heard of it before, its an mp3 player from apple that can be used on the pc if you get the windows ed.
Using firewire, you can transfer mp3s from your computer to this unit at 400mbps
check it out: http://www.apple.com/ipod/specs.html
Damn pricey though! Im going to check it out next week and see how it performs
Anyone have one of these? |

You have no idea... The guy (or girl) who designed this thing is probably in a home for the mentally insane.
The best part to the iPod is it can be used as a portable HD. You don't have to put just MP3's on, anything and everything...
They're really easy to use. Dead simple infact. A durable. I've dropped mine a bunch of times, and it's still ticking (which is odd since it never used to tick...)
Cheers,

macs own :)
I'm about to buy a new one .... thinking about a dual proc G4 ... or laptop ... |

| yeah the dual proc. g4s are very sweet. if you want something for personal use, i'd go with a desktop as opposed to a laptop. the widescreen imacs are nice too. |

No difference except for the cable i think. 6 pin to 4 pin. the pc edition is just for a windows market
Ive never used an apple product before, so i hope it will be good.
The unit is pretty light too. i think 0.65 onces |

Got my 10 gig iPod a couple months ago and its by far the best purchase i ever made. IMO the best MP3 player out there just is a bit pricey.
fats: whats this about it being a portable hard drive? Never tried putting other files and i also thought you could not transport mp3s to another cpu.
Glad to see others here have the best mp3 player too
:tongue3 |
