Help me kick-off my month-long birthday celebration tonight! My alter ego, Franco Benito, will be opening up for James Holden. This is his only west coast performance and playing a 4-hour set exclusively for Incognito. Which, by the way, coincides with its 6-year anniversary!!!

King King's vibe is like Circus, just with a different genre of music and an older crowd. People are there to dance, no "bottles n' models" nonsense.

There are models at Circus? Last few times I was there, I didn't see anything close to models.

AND, there are better looking and more mature people at King King.

BREAKING NEWS: Magnetic Magazine (former founders of Urb) just came out with an unmusical interview with James Holden, read it here first:

Best comment on that interview was about him and his stuffed animal monkey. How adorable! :)

Wait, we get models, check out the photos at http://www.facebook.com/iluvincognito

In fact, better than models, we at INCOGNITO get Breaking Bad's Walt Jr and at some dark corner selling blue stuff, you might meet Jesse Pinkman even! (dont mistake him for Nightcrawler)

TONIGHT!

That was my point. Neither Circus nor King King cater to the bottle service crowd, which is what makes them such good venues (for those who like the music being played).

Heading out soon!

Incognito... you guys saved my life last night!! Much thanks to you and your parties for the past 6 years. Without you guys... my weekends wouldn't be as entertaining as they are now :)

It is always a pleasure spending time with you guys and keep up the EXCELLENT work.

Honestly, I was quite disappointed in Holden. It was my first time seeing him, and I felt like his set went nowhere. Yes, it was well mixed, and the track selection was good, but it didn't take me on a journey, it didn't move me, and it didn't bring about any emotion. He's still a fantastic producer, but his DJ ability left a lot to be desired, in my opinion.

After seeing guys like Digweed, Sven Vath, and Adam X put together incredible sets within similar genres, Holden was a disappointment. It wasn't a bad set by any means, but I expected more from someone of his pedigree.
