I was pleasantly surprised to hear Joel play something completely different than what I was expecting from him at the Guv VELD afterparty on Saturday night. Yes, he did play a few of his own tracks (that's a given), but he also played many dark Techno beats, which I personally loved & so did many others, but it was funny seeing many of his young Neon wearing fans look lost because they were probably expecting a more commercial sounding set from him. Glad he decided to school them.
