Our first ''Saving Trance for Tomorrow'' event will be featuring 7 Trance 1.0 local DJ's in 7 hours (1 DJ/hour).
Notre premier évènement «Saving Trance for Tomorrow» mettra en vedette 7 DJ locaux Trance 1.0 répartis sur 7 heures (1 DJ/heure).
People that are on the guestlists are going to get deals on drinks and the next event for free!
Les personnes inscrites sur la guestlist auront droit à des rabais sur les boissons en plus d'obtenir gratuitement le prochain évènement!
The Team 140 Montreal pre-event supper will be held at Les 3 Brasseurs on Crescent Street/Sainte-Catherine at 7 pm until the event starts (9 or a bit earlier).
3 Brasseurs is almost next to Mica Lounge, prices are affordable and everyone seems to appreciate eating there.
EVERYONE IS INVITED TO OUR SUPPER, promoters, fans, etc, everyone. Let's make this supper a nice and memorable warm-up. Then, we're heading to Mica Lounge.
Le souper Team 140 Montreal juste avant l'évènement sera tenu aux 3 Brasseurs, au coin Crescent/Sainte-Catherine à 19h jusqu'à ce que l'évènement débute (environ 21h).
Les 3 Brasseurs est à deux pas du Mica Lounge, les prix sont abordables et tout le monde semble apprécié leur cuisine.

Welcome to MTL140.
Team 140 Montreal is dedicated to rejuvenating the Trance music scene in Montreal with pure quality and reestablishing the true essence of Trance music. Our mission is to bring quality Trance music to the people, free from commercialism and genre impersonation. Trance originated from the underground music scene and the Team 140 aims to bring it back to its roots. Trance music is designed to put you into a trance; through energy, melody, and complexity. 140 signifies the 140 beats per minute (bpm) tempo, present in most original forms of Trance music and, in general, has been preserved and respected by today's harder Trance DJs. For the most part, it symbolizes the harder more energetic style of EDM, which over the past decade has become bastardized and softened for the masses. However, Team 140 Montreal by no means excludes other forms of Trance; on the contrary it encourages any form of Trance that respects the true elements of the genre, regardless of bpm. We refer to this genre as Trance 1.0. It is Team 140's intention of preserving the pure energetic form of Trance music and delivering it to you!
Team 140 Montreal will be hosting a series of events, supporting local Trance DJs who have, in our opinion, dedicated themselves to quality trance music and are truly passionate (free of commercial incentives). ''

'' I contacted Andrew Ross first because there was barely no one reliable and no one I could trust enough to relaunch the Trance Scene of Montreal, just like the way it was many and many years ago. I needed to get in touch with someone who shares the same vision and passion than me because I can't do this alone, the Trance scene of Montreal must not die; I needed Ross, someone reliable and someone who can do the job right in time.
So, we immediately suggested to start off a new community from the beginning because some of the Trance fans are getting lost in all these new scenes derived directly from Trance.
We also discussed about the way we could unite all of us together again in the same family. So, the idea of a new main central Trance platform (eg: TranceAddict) - with our own podcasts, events and articles - immediately emerged from our conversations for preserving Trance 1.0 in Montreal. In fact, the first name for that community was 'Trance in Montreal', until we noticed how big the Team 140 worldwide movement is becoming. So we thought we could add our city as an official 'department' of Team 140 and thus bringing the movement to a whole new level in the future.
