Anyone voting for the PQ is essentially a neo-nazi.
You basically condone the genocide of Anglos and destruction of any remnants of an economy quebec has.
This is what Marois wants and this is how Hitler started. |
then a person reads this and shoots two people and kill one. |

I am surprised, that no hardcore separatist "killed" Pauline today for speaking English and trying to get some anglophone votes :p |
sounds like someone took your comment seriously, eh? |

Life can be stranger than fiction. Guess my comments should come with "For Educational purposes only" :haha:
It does suck that it happened. Now he has to live with what he did.

| What's even more surprising is that it hasn't happened to jean charest before |

| i'm anglophone and voted for her. Well really , the 8 ball decided. Sometimes it doesn't give you a yes or no answer so you have to shake it a few times. |

Can I ask you Montrealer's a question re: the election?
What made it possible for the PQ to win? I haven't followed much of Quebec politics other than the obvious student tuition fiasco Charest got owned by |

Val d'or was what did it for me. Spending tax payer money so corporations can exploit it. USA's Corporate welfare economy has a pretty spotless record of making medium income tax payers pay for corporate profits. Not to mention the environmental concerns.
And i want to motor boat that . And tell her how she is a nasty doll. In english.
Regarding the student protesting. When it is that big and constant, that would be i would assume public opinion. To ignore and in many ways ridicule your constituents is not a sign of a leader that has your interests in mind. |

i think Charest handled the student crisis well. Think of what Trudeau did (to compare). Liberals also suffered from a lot of corruption scandals, etc. Typical Liberals. Still the lesser of all evils.
I'm curious to see what Pauline will do to Quebec. It makes for an interesting TV show. |

he didn't handle it. They are still on strike. You might agree with his policy, but policy should be decided by the people. I never really supported the essence of the protests but the fact that there are people that will stand up for what they believe and actually have an effect is something i don't think you will find in many places. I think the fact that they did what they did outweighs any squabble they were after.
That spirit that fuelled those protests is really unique to Quebec. A government should be afraid of its citizens. Charest thought they were a nuisance. Now he doesn't have a job. That is democracy. |

Errr the middle class in the US does much better than in Canada. I can attest to this as having worked in both countries.
As for environment concerns, are you referring to concerns in the US or Canada? |
